The Concords is hosting its 2nd National Article Writing Competition on Commercial Laws, offering law students a platform to showcase their legal research and compete for significant rewards.
Competition Overview
The competition is organized by The Concords, a quality-driven blog focused on commercial dispute resolution that features contributions from top law firm professionals.
Prizes: 
Winners and runners-up receive cash prizes totaling over ₹9,000, internships at UKCA & Partners (a Tier-1 firm), and publication opportunities.
Merit Recognition: The top 10 entries will be published on The Concords Blog and receive a Certificate of Merit.
Eligibility: Open to students currently pursuing Law at institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India.

Submission Guidelines
To ensure your article is considered, adhere to the following technical requirements:
Word Count: 1200–3000 words (flexible based on quality).
Formatting: MS Word, Garamond font (size 12), 1.5 spacing, and justified alignment.
Citations: Use hyperlinks within the main text instead of footnotes. Endnotes should only be used if absolutely necessary.
Authorship: Maximum of two authors per entry.
Originality: There is a strict policy against plagiarism; work must be original and not under consideration elsewhere.

Themes and Topics
Participants may write on any topic within the field of Commercial Laws. Suggested themes include:
International Arbitration and Banking/Finance Law.
Mergers and Acquisitions or Insolvency and Bankruptcy.
Digital Commerce, Technology Law, and AI perspectives.
Specific Suggestions: The UK Arbitration Act 2025, WhatsApp's privacy reforms, or the Indian Carbon Credit Trading Scheme (CCTS).
