Call for Papers: NUSRL Law Review (Volume 1, 2026)
The National University of Study and Research in Law (NUSRL), Ranchi, has announced a call for papers for the inaugural issue of its flagship journal, the NUSRL Law Review (NLR). The journal is dedicated to fostering critical legal scholarship and interdisciplinary research through a rigorous, double-blind peer-review process.

Submission Categories and Deadlines
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished work by May 31, 2026. The journal accepts the following types of submissions:
Research Papers: Up to 10,000 words.
Long Articles: Above 5,000 words.
Short Articles/Essays: 3,000–5,000 words.
Book Reviews or Case/Legislative Comments: 1,500–3,000 words.
Note: Word limits are indicative and exclude footnotes.

Key Themes
While the NLR welcomes contributions from all areas of legal study, it has identified several preferred themes:
Data Privacy, Cybersecurity, and AI Regulation.
Environmental Law and Climate Change Policy.
Human Rights, Social Justice, and Gender Equality.
Health Law and Post-COVID-19 Policy.
Corporate Governance and International Trade Law.
Criminal Law Reforms and Intellectual Property Rights.

Submission Guidelines
To ensure a smooth review process, authors must adhere to the following technical requirements:
Format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word (.docx) format, A-4 size, with 1-inch margins.
Styling: Use Times New Roman, Font Size 12, with justified alignment.
Citations: All citations must follow the Bluebook 20th Edition using footnotes only (no endnotes or in-text citations).
Originality: Submissions will be checked via Turnitin; those exceeding a 15% plagiarism/AI limit will be rejected.
Anonymity: The manuscript must not contain identifying information; author details should only be provided via the official Google Form.
Abstract: Include an abstract of no more than 250 words and five keywords.
