The 5th NALSAR-CCI Antitrust Moot Court Competition is scheduled for 2026, organized by the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad, in collaboration with the Competition Commission of India (CCI). This competition aims to promote research into emerging issues in competition law and foster a robust competition culture among future legal professionals.
Institutional Background
NALSAR University of Law is a premier legal institution in India, established under the Andhra Pradesh Act 34 of 1998. It is consistently ranked among the top law schools in the country by agencies such as India Today and the Times of India. In the 2024 NIRF India Rankings, it secured the 3rd position and holds a NAAC score of 3.60/4.00.

Competition Structure
The moot is divided into two primary stages:
Memorandum Elimination Round: Evaluation of written submissions to determine the top 24 teams.
Oral Rounds: Comprising preliminary and advanced rounds for qualifying teams.

Release of Moot Proposition: January 12
Registration Deadline: January 31
Memorial Submission Deadline: February 14
Announcement of Memorial Results: February 28
Oral Rounds: March 12–14

Eligibility and Registration
The competition is open to undergraduate and postgraduate law students (including LL.M. candidates) from institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India. Teams may consist of 2 speakers or 2 speakers and 1 researcher. There is no limit on the number of teams that can apply from a single institution. 

Prizes and Awards
Winning Team: Trophy, INR 1,00,000 cash prize, three one-year SCC Online subscriptions, and an internship opportunity at Trilegal.
Runners-Up: Trophy, INR 50,000 cash prize, and an internship opportunity at Trilegal.
Best Speaker: Trophy and INR 10,000.
Best Researcher: Trophy, INR 7,500, and an internship opportunity at Trilegal.
Best Memorandum (Informant & Opposite Party): Trophy and INR 12,500 each.
