National Women’s Moot Court Competition 2026 | Puducherry | Registration by January 20

The SMVEC Centre of Legal Education is hosting its National Women’s Moot Court Competition from March 6 to March 8, 2026, in Puducherry. 
This event is designed to raise standards in clinical legal education and provides a platform for female law students across India to showcase their advocacy skills.

Key Dates & Deadlines
​Google Form Registration Deadline: January 20, 2026.  
​Hard Copy Registration & Fee Submission: January 24, 2026.  
​Last Date for Clarifications: January 31, 2026.  
​Memorial Submission (Soft & Hard Copies): February 28, 2026.  
​Desk Registration (at Venue): March 6, 2026, starting at 1:30 PM.  
​Competition Rounds: March 7–8, 2026.  
Eligibility and Team Composition
​Eligibility: Restricted to female undergraduate students currently enrolled in a 3-year or 5-year LL.B. program recognized by the Bar Council of India.  
​Team Size: Each team must consist of exactly two female students, both acting as speakers.  
​Limit: Each institution can send only one team. The competition is capped at a maximum of 36 teams.  
Registration Details
​Fee: ₹3,000 per team.  
​Process: Teams must complete the Google Form and upload scanned copies of their registration form and payment proof.  
​Payment: Fees should be paid via online gateway to the "Sri Manakula Vinayagar Engineering College" Indian Bank account
 (A/c No: 6207986448, IFSC: IDIB000M203).  

​Competition Rewards
​Winners: ₹20,000.  
​Runners-up: ₹15,000.  
​Best Memorial: ₹7,000 (1st Place); ₹5,000 (2nd Place).  
​Best Advocacy: ₹5,000 (1st Place); ₹3,000 (2nd Place).  
​Certificates: All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation.  
Logistics and Venue
​Venue: SMVEC Centre of Legal Education, Madagadipet, Puducherry.  
​Accommodation: Provided for team members from 1:00 PM on March 6 to 1:00 PM on March 8.  
​Hospitality: Food and local transport between the accommodation and venue will be provided by the institution.
