About MIT-ADT University and the School of Law
Established by the renowned MIT Group of Institutions, MIT Art, Design and Technology University is a UGC-recognized multidisciplinary institution located on a scenic 125-acre campus at Raj Baugh, Loni Kalbhor. The campus, once owned by legendary actor Raj Kapoor, is aesthetically designed on the banks of the Mula-Mutha river.

Competition Theme: Contemporary Issues in Sports Law
The 2026 edition focuses on the vibrant domain of Sports Law, which intersects with various legal areas including contract law, intellectual property, arbitration, and media law. Participants will engage with a moot proposition centered on:
Athlete selection disputes.
Sports arbitration and disciplinary actions.
Sports governance and federation accountability.
Competition Format and Schedule
The competition utilizes a hybrid format, combining virtual preliminary rounds with on-campus advanced rounds.

Important Dates
 * Registration Period: January 10, 2026, to February 13, 2026.
 * Memorial Submission Deadline: February 13, 2026.
 * Preliminary Rounds (Online): February 28, 2026.
 * Quarter-Final & Semi-Final Rounds (Offline): March 27, 2026.
 * Grand Finale & Valedictory Ceremony (Offline): March 28, 2026.

Rounds Structure
The event progresses through Preliminary Rounds, Quarter-Finals, Semi-Finals, and a Grand Finale. Evaluation is based on a combination of memorial submissions and oral advocacy.

Registration and Fees
Teams consisting of three members must register by sending an email to mootcourt.mitsol@mituniversity.edu.in after completing the online form.
Initial Registration Fee: ₹4,000 per team.
Additional Fee: ₹3,000 for teams qualifying for Quarter-Finals onwards (covers food and lodging for two days on campus).
Requirements: A scanned Bona-fide Certificate from the Head of the Institution must be uploaded during registration.

Awards and Recognition
The competition offers significant rewards for excellence in various categories:

 * Runner-Up Team: ₹20,000 + Trophy + Certificates.
