The 1st RACHK National Criminal Law Moot Court Competition is a historic legal event hosted by the Rotaract Club of Hyderabad Kanoon (RACHK) in collaboration with the Rotary Club of Hyderabad East. This competition marks the first-ever national moot court conducted under the aegis of Rotary.
Event Overview
Dates: March 14–15, 2026.
Venue: G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology & Science (GNITS), Shaikpet, Hyderabad, Telangana.
Theme: "Argue for a Cause".
Purpose: Funds raised from the event will be donated to an orphanage home for children affected by HIV/AIDS to support their medical treatment and well-being.
Registration Details
Eligibility: Open to students currently enrolled in 3-year or 5-year LL.B. programs recognized by the Bar Council of India.
Team Composition: Each team must consist of two Speakers and one Researcher.
Registration Fee: ₹3,500 per team.
Accommodation: ₹4,000 (payable only upon qualification for the offline rounds).
Registration Deadline: February 15, 2026.
Prizes and Awards
The competition features prizes worth a total of Rs. 90,000/-, sponsored by Senior Advocate Shri Sunil B. Ganu.
* Winning Team: Rs. 50,000/-.
* Runner-Up Team: Rs. 25,000/-.
* Best Student Advocate (I & II): Rs. 5,000/- each.
* Best Memorial: Rs. 5,000/-.

* Round 1 (Online Oral Rounds): February 28 – March 1, 2026.

Competition Structure
Round 1 (Online): Teams argue for one side only (20 minutes total per team).
Round 2 (Offline): Top 20 teams from Round 1 qualify; teams argue from both sides (25 minutes total per team).
Semi-Finals: Four qualifying teams from Round 2 (30 minutes total per team).
Final Round: Winners of the Semi-Finals compete for the title (30 minutes total per team).
