Overview

LJ School of Law, affiliated with Gujarat University and approved by the Bar Council of India, is hosting Vidhwata 7.0, its annual national law fest. The event is organized by Lok Jagruti Kendra, a charitable trust established in 1980.

Vidhwata 7.0 is held in memory of Late Senior Advocate Shri Girish Patel, former Director of LJSL, whose contributions to legal education continue to inspire the institution. The Knowledge Partner for the event is Manupatra.

Late Shree Girish Patel Memorial Moot Court Competition

Registration Fee: ₹3,500 per team

Registration Deadline: 31 January 2026

Eligibility: Regular students of 3-year or 5-year integrated LL.B. programmes

Team Composition: 3 members (2 speakers + 1 researcher)


Awards

Winner: Trophy + ₹1,00,000

First Runner-Up: Trophy + ₹50,000

Second Runner-Up: Trophy + ₹25,000

Best Mooter: Trophy + ₹10,000

Best Memorial: Trophy + ₹10,000

Parliamentary Debate Competition

Registration Fee: ₹2,000 per team

Eligibility: Regular students of any recognized school, college, or university

Team Composition: 3 members

Second Runner-Up: Trophy + ₹20,000

Registration Procedure

1. Pay the registration fee via the prescribed QR code.


2. Save a screenshot of the successful payment.


3. Complete the provisional registration Google Form and upload the payment proof.


4. Await confirmation by email (within two days).


5. Submit the final registration form, duly signed and stamped by the Head of the Institution, by 14 February 2026.


6. Email the scanned signed form to vidhwata@ljku.edu.in.



Accommodation

Available Dates: 19, 20, and 21 February 2026

Charges: ₹900 per person per day

Accommodation for additional days must be arranged independently by participants.
