Thrissur Govt Law College - XIVth All India Moot Court Competition 2025–2026

The Government Law College, Thrissur, is hosting the XIVth All India Moot Court Competition for the Justice T. Ramachandran Memorial Ever Rolling Trophy. Initiated in 2000 to honour late Justice T. Ramachandran of the High Court of Kerala, the competition provides a platform for students to engage in rigorous advocacy, critical legal reasoning, and scholarly debate.

Eligibility and Registration

Eligibility: Open to undergraduate law students enrolled in 3-year and 5-year programs recognized by the Bar Council of India
Team Limit: One team per institution
Team Composition:
– Two-member team: Both act as speakers
– Three-member team: Two speakers and one researcher

Provisional Registration: Institutions must communicate participation via email to mcs.glct@gmail.com on or before 12 December 2025
Registration Fee: Rs. 1500 per team payable by 18 December 2025

Selection Process: Memorial evaluation will determine selection of 20 teams for the preliminary round. Results will be announced on 10 January 2026.
Final Confirmation: Selected teams must pay an additional Rs. 3500 by 13 January 2026

Awards and Hospitality

Awards worth over Rs. 50,000 will be distributed under categories including: Best Team, Second Best Team, Best Memorial, Second Best Memorial, Best Researcher, Second Best Researcher, and best advocate recognitions.
Certificates of participation will be issued to all participants.

Hospitality includes complimentary food and separate accommodation for boys and girls from the evening of 29 January 2026 until 31 January 2026.
