About the Internship
The Centre for Research and Planning (CRP) of the Supreme Court of India offers a research-oriented internship programme aimed at law students interested in constitutional law, judicial research, and policy planning. Interns work closely with the CRP team on research, analysis, and legal drafting relevant to the functioning of the Supreme Court.
The CRP hires up to 10 interns on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Eligibility
Students enrolled in a BCI-recognised law programme
4th or 5th year of a 5-year LL.B. course OR
3rd year of a 3-year LL.B. course
Age limit: Below 28 years

Application Process
Applicants must apply through an online application form and submit:
Curriculum Vitae (maximum 2 pages)
Statement of Purpose (350–500 words)
Writing Sample (1,500–3,000 words) demonstrating legal analysis
📌 The CRP may conduct a telephonic interview, if required.

Internship Conditions
Minimum duration: 4 weeks
Mode: Physical / On-site
Location: Supreme Court of India, New Delhi
Working hours:
Mon–Fri: 10:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Saturday: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Interns must maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism
Interns cannot engage in any other internship or assignment during this period

Stipend
 No remuneration is provided for this internship.

Supervision
Interns work under the supervision of the Director, Centre for Research and Planning, Supreme Court of India.
