Centre for Civil Society (CCS) is a leading public policy think tank based in New Delhi, working in the areas of education, governance, and livelihood. CCS promotes institutional reforms and evidence-based public policy through research, advocacy, training, and outreach.
About the Internship & Volunteering Programme
Internship and volunteering at CCS offer a unique opportunity to acquire professional skills, engage with policy stakeholders, and contribute to public policy reform. Interns and volunteers interact with senior civil society leaders, policy experts, and a global alumni network of over 10,000 members.
The programme is designed to promote diversity in the policy space, build thought leadership, and provide hands-on exposure to CCS projects, pilots, and initiatives.
Nature of Work
Interns may be involved in one or more of the following activities depending on the project assigned:
- Policy and academic research
- Outreach and youth engagement programmes
- Stakeholder interaction and coordination
- Event management and public engagement
- Marketing and communications
- Social media and digital campaigns
- Documentation and reporting
- Administrative and programme support
Duration and Mode
- Internships are full-time
- Minimum duration: Two months
- Applicants must apply at least 30 days before their intended start date
Stipend
- No stipend is provided for CCS internships

- Letter of Intent
- A research writing sample of approximately 800 words

- Three CCS programmes or initiatives the applicant wishes to work with
