Call for Papers: Law Society Review (2026 Edition) - Aligarh Muslim University
The Law Society, Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), is pleased to announce a "Call for Papers" for the 2026 edition of the Law Society Review. This annual publication serves as a vital platform for legal scholars, practitioners, researchers, and students to engage in critical discussion on contemporary national and international legal and policy issues.
The 2026 edition invites original, rigorous, and reflective submissions on the theme: "Global Justice in Transition: Law, Reform, and Accountability in the 21st Century". The volume seeks to explore how shifting legal, technological, environmental, and humanitarian contexts are fundamentally reshaping the meaning and pursuit of justice globally.
Accepted papers will be published in an edited book format carrying an ISBN number, under the Law Society Review (2026 Edition).

* PART II. Criminal Law Reform: Analyzing evolving conceptions of justice and equality within criminal and constitutional frameworks in India, with indicative themes such as the comparative study of sedition, digital evidence under the new criminal codes, the transition to restorative justice, and gender neutrality in the criminal justice system.
* PART III. Environmental Law & Climate Justice: Investigating the law's response to environmental degradation and climate emergencies, focusing on accountability for environmental harm during armed conflict, rights of climate-displaced persons, and corporate environmental responsibility.
