The ICPC Internship Programme is designed to provide students with a practical understanding of policy-making, politics, and governance. It combines structured learning, real-world exposure, and professional mentorship, enabling participants to build a strong foundation for careers in public policy and political consulting.

Programme Structure

The internship is conducted in two integrated modules:

Module 1 – Online Training

Participants begin with a structured, self-paced online learning programme focused on the fundamentals of politics, governance, and policy.

Module 2 – In-Office Internship

Interns gain hands-on exposure by working with political offices and field organizers, contributing to real-world strategy and governance activities.

Mentorship

Each intern is guided by experienced professionals from the political and policy consulting ecosystem.

What Interns Receive

Certificate of Completion – Issued by PPGF after successful completion of both modules.

Stipend – ₹5,000 per month, based on tasks completed. The flexible structure allows students to balance academic responsibilities.

Duration

Internship Period: Four months (non-continuous)

Completion Window: Up to nine months, allowing students to progress at their own pace in line with academic schedules.


Eligibility

The internship is open to students from all academic backgrounds. It is particularly suitable for final-year and penultimate-year students who aspire to build a career in political strategy, public policy, or governance consulting after graduation.
