Moot Proposition: A Summary
The 2026 problem centers on "PrismNet," an AI-driven governance platform developed by Aurora Technologies under a Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the Government of Indica. The platform utilizes facial recognition, financial monitoring, and social media analysis to generate predictive risk scores for citizens.
The case arises from a series of high-stakes conflicts:
Ethical Dissent: Co-founder Dr. Kavya Iyer raised alarms regarding algorithmic bias against marginalized communities.
Government Pressure: The Ministry of Digital Affairs (MODA) mandated real-time data sharing and algorithmic "adjustments" to align with policy priorities.
The Leak & Arrest: Dr. Iyer leaked internal audit reports revealing government interference, leading to her arrest under the National Security Confidentiality Act and UAPA.
Legal Challenges: Shareholders alleged mismanagement, while civil rights groups challenged the system's constitutionality.
The Supreme Court of Indica has consolidated these matters to address five critical issues, including the violation of privacy rights (Articles 14, 19, and 21), whether private corporations perform "State functions," and the validity of the Electronic Personal Data Protection (EPDP) Act.

Eligibility: Open to all Law Colleges and institutions recognized by the Bar Council of India (both 3-year and 5-year LL.B. courses).
