About the Competition
The K. R. Ramamani Memorial National Taxation Moot Court Competition is a prestigious national-level moot focusing exclusively on Taxation Law. The competition aims to encourage law students to engage deeply with complex issues of direct and indirect taxation and to develop strong research, drafting, and advocacy skills.
Now in its 16th edition, the competition has established itself as one of India’s leading taxation moots, judged by eminent jurists, senior advocates, members of the ITAT, and academicians.

Open to students pursuing 3-year or 5-year LL.B./B.L. programmes
Institutions must be recognized by the Bar Council of India
